Isabel was born on the continent of Australia in Melbourne. Her mother and father were both Swiss. Her family has lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and Jabiru in Switzerland. She went to school with Nina as well as children of different backgrounds, such as First Nations. Isabel lives in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was involved in drama since her time in high school. Apart from learning about drama, she took classes in Perdekamp Emotional Method at Queensland University of Technology. Her auditions were not for parts until the agent found she was available in 2002. She auditioned for the role of Home and Away (1998). Though they weren't sure she was suitable for the part, the production team was so impressed they decided to create a second role for Tasha. The initial TV show she played lasted three years and she was awarded her the Logie Award for new popular talents. Isabel moved in 2008 to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough role came with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then, she's been featured in a variety of US as well as Australian projects, and she's been awarded numerous times. Isabel was recently on the screen in Bosh & Rockit, a film that is fast becoming a hit in Australia. Also, she acted in the forthcoming action thriller Lunacy. Isabel has recently completed Sons of Summer. She is currently in the pre-production process for her part as Marie Curie with award winning writer/director Annika Glas.
